Department was established during the inception of the institute on 2010 as the department of diploma in electrical engineering to remain synchronised with the modern trends at present.

The department has blend of experienced, highly qualified and motivated academic faculty contribute to achieve academic excellence with well-equipped laboratory like Electrical machine, electrical measurement, power system, power electronics, electrical workshop, electrical computer and automation lab.
